Pink MahogHany is a luxury fragrance studio specializing in bespoke perfumery, scent branding, sensory education, and experiential scent design.

Founded and led by Chavalia Mwamba, the studio works with individuals, brands, and institutions to design scent experiences that are intentional, intimate, and impossible to forget.

Chavalia Mwamba is a self-taught niche perfumer based in Longview, Texas.

With a background in both music and education, Chavalia treats each composition as an alluringly intriguing song that takes the wearer on a unique, unforgettable journey. Designed to court the skin and flirt with the air, every Pink MahogHany fragrance initiates and carries its conversation with eloquence.

Born from Necessity

Pink MahogHany was founded in 2005, when Chavalia began to notice the scents of once-favorite fragrances changing without notice. Amidst these changes came an influx of frustrations from those around her: headaches, rashes, and other adverse reactions made wearing fragrance feel like a compromise rather than a pleasure.

What began as a personal remedy has become a ritual worn in whispers. Blended in small, heartfelt batches using natural and mixed-media notes, each fragrance is a chapter. A secret. A slow reveal.

The Family Behind the Fragrance

Chavalia is the proud mother of home-schooled Pink MahogHany TwinTerns and aspiring script writers, Elikya and Ilya Mwamba. She dedicates the aromatherapy collection to her angel baby boy, Kenji Mwamba (2018).

Chavalia has been a guest speaker at the Institute for Art and Olfaction and a guest panelist for the IAO Olfacimus fragrance discussion alongside Master Perfumer Christophe Laudamiel.
